Our family was so fortunate to have spent so much time with Jim and Deborah during our kids’ formative years. We shared soccer and acro experiences where Jim was always encouraging and positive to everyone. He reinforced our son’s decision to become a lawyer, and always made our daughter feel special during her long friendship with Sarah and many days spent at the Corbett home. I can’t think of anyone I know who was more empathetic to those in need, acted on that empathy by generously helping others, and was a positive role model to all who were fortunate to have known Jim. He was a successful lawyer who helped so many regardless of ability to pay. In contrast to the relentless braggadocio of some local attorneys, Jim’s ads were amusing, effective, and memorable. Who can forget the opposing attorney dropping a coffee cup or breaking a pencil upon learning that Corbett and Associates were the opponent?!
